The guest speaker was Brandom Gengelbach, Executive Vice President of Economic Development at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. His topic was “This is Not Your Dad’s Chamber - The power of collaboration in community development affects and involves nonprofits.” In attendance were more than 60 executives from more than 30 local nonprofit organizations, including ACH Child & Family Services, Alliance for Children, Arlington ISD, Big Brother Big Sister, Camp Fire First Texas, Cancer Care Services, Cristo Rey Catholic High School, Dickies Arena, Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas, Fort Worth Library Foundation, Fort Worth Opera, Fort Worth Scottish Rite, FWAYA, Humane Society of North Texas, John and Pate Page Foundation, M. Gale & Associates, Neurological Recovery for the Armed Forces, Performing Arts Fort Worth, Inc., PSP Counseling, Radler Foundation, Ronald McDonald House FW, Sid Richardson Foundation, Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County College Foundation, Texas Christian University, The Cliburn, The Kimbell, The Morris Foundation, Trinity Valley School, and UNT Health Science Center. Dana Stayton, partner and chair of the Kelly Hart Nonprofit section, spearheaded the effort. The next Lunch and Learn will be held in January, 2019.
