David Keltner Featured Speaker at State Bar of Texas Oil and Gas Disputes 2020

David Keltner recently spoke on “The Presumed Grant Theory and its Application to Texas Title Disputes” at the Texas Bar CLE’s Oil and Gas Disputes 2020.


David Keltner and Taylor Spalla  co-authored a paper titled “The Presumed Grant Theory and its Application to Texas Title Disputes.”  The Theory is “described as a common law form of adverse possession” to establish title for one entitled to ownership through eons of open and unchallenged ownership that lacks record title because of an unexplained gap in title transfer.  Oil and Gas Disputes 2020 is presented by the TexasBarCLE and co-sponsored by the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Section of the State Bar of Texas.
