Robbie Clarke

BIOGRAPHY

Robbie Clarke’s legal practice is centered on representing investors, borrowers, and lenders in various types of financing transactions, such as interim, permanent, reserve-based, tax-exempt bond, construction, secured or unsecured transactions. He also specializes in public finance and serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and bank’s counsel for tax-exempt financings of non-profit entities and municipalities, including school districts, cities, counties, universities, and special districts.

In addition to public finance, Mr. Clarke has extensive legal experience representing both publicly traded and privately held corporate clients in various transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and general corporate governance. This experience includes in-court and out of court situations for distressed companies as well as advising companies, creditors, and equity owners in relation to corporate bankruptcy.

EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLIGHTS

• Represented a major Texas electricity cooperative in financing its corporate obligations
• Represented a food processing company based in North Texas in the sale of its operations
• Represented an oil and gas company in the process of refinancing its corporate debt
• Represented a major maritime transportation services corporation through chapter 11 proceedings, which included the sale of multiple assets
