Thomas A. Swafford
BIOGRAPHY
Thomas Swafford is an associate in the Litigation practice group representing corporate and individual clients in state and federal courts in a variety of matters, including complex commercial disputes, business torts, fraud, contract disputes, and employment matters. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he competed on the national moot court team and won the award for “Best Oralist” at the 2023 National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition.
Before law school, Mr. Swafford obtained a Master’s degree in Intelligence and Security Studies from The Citadel Graduate College in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his B.A. in International Relations, magna cum laude, from Creighton University, where he received a baseball scholarship and was twice named to the Big East Conference All-Academic Team.
