Caleb Bulls

BIOGRAPHY

Caleb Bulls graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review. Mr. Bulls is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice. His practice focuses on representing corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of litigation in state and federal courts involving commercial disputes, business torts, personal injury cases, Deceptive Trade Practices claims, complex breach of contract actions, and arbitration. 

Mr. Bulls has a keen understanding of business and corporate law and uses his background in accounting to assist him in advocating his clients’ interests. He has strong written and oral advocacy skills that allow him to present and defend, or cross-examine witnesses in highly technical or otherwise complex subjects. Mr. Bulls has participated in numerous civil trials in state and federal courts and has participated in several arbitrations.

EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLIGHTS
  • Represented the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth in a lawsuit involving allegations of sexual misconduct.  Obtained a dismissal of all claims against the Diocese after the close of discovery.  Montgomery v. The Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, et al., 2018 WL 1996154
  • Represented municipality in connection with constitutionality of anti-smoking ordinance.  Obtained a dismissal of all claims asserted against the municipality
  • Trial counsel to a business that was defrauded in connection with its acquisition of a home health agency.  Obtained a multi-million-dollar judgment after a six-week jury trial
  • Trial counsel to chemical plant that was sued by a variety of individuals who resided in close proximity to the plant when it caught fire.  Obtained successful defense verdicts on the plaintiffs’ nuisance claims
  • Trial court and appellate defense counsel in lawsuit involving attorney malpractice.  Obtained summary judgment defendant that was upheld on appeal.  Parsons v. Queenan, 2017 WL 360673 (Tex. App. – Dallas 2017, no pet.)
  • Represented business in embezzlement action.  Obtained a multi-million dollar summary judgment on behalf of plaintiff
  • Trial counsel on behalf of individuals sued by plaintiff who sought damages exceeding one million dollars.  Obtained a take-nothing judgment in favor of the defendant
  • Trial court and appellate defense counsel in derivative lawsuit involving dispute amongst a restaurant’s shareholders.  Obtained summary judgment for defendant that was upheld on appeal.  Chan v. Sharpe, 2015 WL 5722833 (Tex. App. – Fort Worth 2015, pet. denied)
