David E. Miles
BIOGRAPHY
David E. Miles is an associate in the Litigation practice group. He graduated with high honors, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech School of Law, where he showcased his legal acumen as an Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review. In 2017, Mr. Miles successfully completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, receiving accolades such as the Top Grade Award in Civil Procedure, Entertainment Law, and Trial Advocacy. His outstanding performance also earned him the Distinction Award in Torts, Evidence, Products Liability, and Real Property Finance & Transactions.
During his time in law school, Mr. Miles actively participated in the moot court program and established himself as a skilled brief writer. He was part of the winning team that secured the National Championship in the prestigious 2015 National Entertainment Law Moot Court Championship, where his own brief earned third place recognition. His exceptional brief writing skills were acknowledged with the Regional Best Brief Award in the 2017 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Miles completed his undergraduate studies, earning a BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
