Matthew W. Luensmann
BIOGRAPHY
Matthew W. Luensmann’s practice involves a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. His real estate practice focuses on representing purchasers and sellers in the sale of improved and unimproved real property, including title and survey review and the preparation of conveyance and financing documents. Mr. Luensmann also has experience representing landlords and tenants in retail, office, and industrial lease transactions.
Mr. Luensmann also represents lenders and borrowers in interim, permanent, reserve-based, and other types of financing transactions. Mr. Luensmann has experience representing clients in connection with loans secured by real property, including oil and gas properties, and other assets.
Mr. Luensmann’s practice also involves railroad development projects, as well as aircraft financing transactions, including sale-leasebacks and mortgage financings.

- Representation of a state bank in $90 million subscription line of credit to a real estate fund
- Representation of an independent oil and gas company in $300 million syndicated borrowing base revolving line of credit
- Representation of a national retailer in $50+ million credit facility
- Representation of a fast-growing health care company in acquisition of numerous properties across Texas and Arizona
- Representation of a national railroad company in numerous customer project transactions and leases
- Representation of a domestic airline in closing commercial aircraft sale-leaseback transactions
