Don C. Plattsmier
BIOGRAPHY
Don C. Plattsmier represents individuals, corporations, and other business entities in oil/gas and energy exploration and development projects; mergers, asset acquisitions and divestitures (including auctions, negotiated sales, and property exchanges). He has experience with the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of very large (several in excess of $1 billion) transactions involving oil/gas exploratory, producing properties and mid-stream assets. Mr. Plattsmier received his bachelor of arts from the University of New Mexico in 1965 and his juris doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 1968. Before commencing the practice of law in 1970, he served two years in the U.S. Army.
