Robin B. Happel
BIOGRAPHY
For over 20 years, Robin B. Happel has focused her practice on representing individuals and entities in a variety of corporate securities transactions and matters, including public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, securities laws compliance, commodities laws compliance, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, derivatives trading documentation, and general corporate law matters. She regularly advises investment advisors to onshore and offshore funds with respect to investment management activities. Ms. Happel also has experience representing activist investors in proxy contests and consent solicitations.
EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLIGHTS
- Represented the Bass family of Fort Worth, Texas in the $6.6 billion sale of its oil company to ExxonMobil Corporation in February of 2017
- Represented a privately-held company in a $140 million project financing in January of 2015
- Represented the Bass family of Fort Worth, Texas in the $1.6 billion sale of its gas processing and transportation company to Southern Union Co. in March of 2006
